A new multi-sport dome is set to be established in the SEDRA community in northern Riyadh, as the Saudi Sports for All Federation partners with ROSHN to expand recreational and athletic facilities in the capital. The project is currently listed as coming soon.
The planned dome will house a range of indoor facilities, including football pitches, basketball, tennis, volleyball and badminton courts, alongside a clubhouse and dedicated sports programs. Designed for all-weather access, the venue is intended to operate year-round, offering a comfortable environment regardless of the season.
The dome will connect directly to SEDRA's wider network of running tracks, cycling lanes and walking routes, with visitor parking available on site. This integration aims to create a continuous active-lifestyle hub where residents can combine indoor and outdoor sports in one location.
Why it matters
As Riyadh continues to grow, demand for accessible, high-quality sports facilities has risen among both residents and expats. An all-weather, multi-sport venue in a residential community gives families and individuals a practical option to stay active throughout the year, including during the hottest months.
Once operational, bookings are planned to be handled through the SFA mobile application, making it easier for users to reserve courts and join programs. At this stage, no entry fees, court-rental prices, operating hours or opening date have been announced. Saudi Living will share further details as they become available.
