A new Saudi joint venture called radia launched on 16 July 2026 to provide sports-venue and live-experience services across the Kingdom. The venture brings together SURJ Sports Investment, a company of the Public Investment Fund, alongside Live Nation and Oak View Group, with SURJ holding the majority stake.
radia is positioned as a fully integrated venue-services platform. Its scope spans design review, operational planning, and development oversight, as well as venue operations, event activations, commercialization, hospitality, and fan-experience services. Xavier Campbell was appointed as the company's first chief executive.
Why it matters
The venture is intended to support Saudi Arabia's growing portfolio of stadiums, arenas, and major sports precincts. As the Kingdom hosts more large-scale sporting and entertainment events, having a dedicated operator for venue management and fan experiences aims to raise the standard of what audiences encounter on event days.
For residents and visitors in cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah, the practical impact will become clearer over time, as radia takes on the operation and activation of venues. At launch, no specific managed venue, city, or district was publicly named, and no fees, ticket prices, or service charges were announced. Exact ownership percentages were not disclosed.
Saudi Living will share further details as radia confirms the venues and events it will operate.
