Riyadh Air is expanding its international network in 2026 with new routes to Kuala Lumpur and Málaga, adding to a growing list of destinations connecting the Saudi capital to major cities around the world.
The airline will launch flights to Málaga in Spain on 14 July 2026, operating to Málaga Airport. Service to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, is set to begin on 30 July 2026, using Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
These additions are part of a broader 2026 expansion that also includes new routes to Madrid, Manchester, Mumbai, and Dhaka. Together with earlier destinations, the carrier's published 2026 route map spans London Heathrow, Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Madrid, Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Málaga, Mumbai, and Dhaka.
Why it matters
The new routes give residents and travelers in Riyadh more direct options for business, tourism, and family travel across Europe, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Málaga opens a gateway to southern Spain and the Costa del Sol, while Kuala Lumpur strengthens links to a key Southeast Asian hub.
The expanding network reflects Riyadh's growing role as a global travel and connectivity center, offering more choice for the community as the airline builds out its international map.
