Tabuk Airport Gets First Seasonal Sochi Flight

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk has received its first seasonal direct flight of 2026 arriving from Sochi, Russia. The service was launched in July 2026 and is operated in cooperation with Russian carrier Azimuth Airlines, marking a new addition to the airport's international network.

The new Tabuk–Sochi route runs once connecting Tabuk Regional Airport (TUU) with Sochi International Airport (AER). The flights are operated using Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jets.

Expanding Tabuk's Reach

The airport is operated by Cluster2 Airports, and the launch forms part of its efforts to expand international connectivity and strengthen air links for the Tabuk region. The route is aimed at supporting seasonal tourism and regional mobility between Saudi Arabia and southern Russia.

For residents and travellers in the northwestern part of the Kingdom, the new connection adds a fresh option for international travel without needing to route through larger hubs. It also positions Tabuk to welcome more visitors during peak seasons, supporting the region's growing tourism ambitions.

Travellers planning to use the route should follow the standard travel and visa requirements that apply to international journeys between the two countries.
