Saudi Fuel Prices Steady in April 2026 Update

Saudi energy authorities say domestic fuel supplies remain stable across the Kingdom following operational disruptions at key oil facilities in April 2026, with updated retail prices confirmed for the month.

Under the April 2026 schedule announced by الخطوط السعودية's national oil supplier, Saudi Aramco, retail petrol prices (inclusive of VAT) stand at SAR 2.18 SAR 2.33 and SAR 3.83 Retail diesel for the transport sector is set at SAR 1.79 while kerosene is priced at SAR 1.59

Domestic prices are set and announced by Saudi Aramco under a government-mandated framework aligned with international benchmarks while preserving market stability. The 2026 pattern reflects scheduled updates, with at least a quarterly review shown in the April adjustment. Separately, industrial and bulk diesel for listed companies rose to SAR 2.20 79 as part of subsidy reform effective 1 January 2026, and methane feedstock was raised to USD 2.36–2.58

Keeping supplies flowing

Attacks in April 2026 temporarily cut oil output by about 600,000 barrels per day and East–West Pipeline flows by around 700,000 bpd, disrupting oil, gas, refining, petrochemical and electricity operations in الرياض, the Eastern Province and Yanbu Industrial City. Authorities rerouted crude exports via the East–West Pipeline and البحر الأحمر ports and drew on Aramco's overseas inventories to limit the impact.

The Kingdom entered 2026 with 2–3 million bpd of spare production capacity, providing a buffer to maintain supply. Officials also increased imports of fuel oil for power plants and desalination facilities, including the Jeddah South and Qurayyah steam units, to keep electricity and water services running. For residents and businesses, the measures mean pump-price stability for the main gasoline grades despite the disruptions.
