Saudi Entertainment Ventures (Seven), backed by the Public Investment Fund, is in active talks with additional global entertainment brands and intellectual property owners to widen the line-up of attractions at its Saudi destinations, as the company shifts from a developer role into an operator of a portfolio valued at more than SAR 35 billion.
Seven plans to invest around SAR 50 billion to build 21 integrated entertainment destinations featuring over 150 attractions across 14 Saudi cities. About 70% of these attractions are being designed as proprietary Saudi concepts, while the remaining 30% will draw on licensed global brands selected for innovation, longevity, and appeal to local tastes.
The company has already secured partnerships with well-known global entertainment and toy brands, including IPs tied to Transformers, Play-Doh, Hot Wheels, Formula E, and other Warner Bros. Discovery-related experiences.
Seven's first two destinations are now operational. SEVEN Abha, in the Asir region, opened in August 2026 as the first of the nationwide hubs, offering the Discovery Adventures jungle-themed edutainment experience, a Play-Doh Imagination Center for younger children, and a Formula E Karting indoor electric track of about 428 meters. SEVEN Tabuk followed as the company's second destination, opened the same month and sized at less than one-third the capital scale of the planned Riyadh site.
The rollout envisages opening at least three destinations each year from 2026 to 2028, with future locations planned in Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa, Madinah, Yanbu, and Jazan, among others. Each destination is sized to local demand. Ticketing and pricing for SEVEN Abha had not yet been officially published as of the latest available updates, so entry and ride fees remain to be confirmed.
