70 Cultural Ambassadors Graduate in Riyadh

Seventy young Saudis have graduated as "cultural ambassadors" from the Young Leaders Program for Global Communication in Riyadh, forming the program's sixth cohort in March 2024. The graduation ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The program is run by the Salam Project for Cultural Communication, under the patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan. Its aim is to prepare young people for global communication and to represent Saudi Arabia's culture, achievements, peacemaking efforts, and Vision 2030 on the international stage.

Participants build practical skills across several areas, including intercultural dialogue, international representation, media engagement, diplomacy, and understanding global issues. The training equips them to speak confidently about the Kingdom in international settings.

A growing national network

Since its launch in 2018, the program has graduated more than 430 participants across seven cohorts. Around 240 of those graduates have taken part in more than 120 international conferences and events, both inside the Kingdom and abroad.

Selection remains highly competitive. Earlier cycles chose roughly 60 to 70 participants with places awarded on merit. Registration for newer editions opens through online forms on the program's official platforms during set date windows.

The Young Leaders Program is a training and scholarship-style initiative, not a visa or residency service. Enrollment is handled directly through Salam and its official registration pages. For young Saudis interested in cultural diplomacy and global representation, it offers a structured pathway to develop the skills needed to carry the Kingdom's story to the world.
