Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk has received its first seasonal direct flight of 2026 arriving from Sochi, Russia. The service, launched in July 2026, was operated in cooperation with Azimuth Airlines and marks a new addition to Saudi Arabia's growing network of international routes.
The Tabuk–Sochi connection is a seasonal international route running once a week between Tabuk (TUU) and Sochi International Airport (AER). The flights are operated using Azimuth Airlines aircraft, with the Sukhoi Superjet 100 reported on this service. The airport is operated by Cluster2 Airports.
The new link is part of the Kingdom's wider push to expand air connectivity and support its tourism-focused route network. By opening a direct seasonal channel to a popular Russian coastal destination, Tabuk strengthens its position as a gateway to the northwestern region and its growing tourism and development projects.
For residents and visitors in the area, the route offers a fresh travel option and reflects the steady growth of international traffic through regional Saudi airports. Standard Saudi international travel procedures apply to passengers on this route; no route-specific regulations or fee changes have been introduced for the Tabuk–Sochi service in 2026.
Travelers are advised to confirm schedules, fares, and entry requirements directly with the operating airline ahead of booking, as the seasonal service runs on a limited weekly frequency.
