Al-Baha Sewer Projects Serve Over 34,000 Residents

The National Water Company has completed two sewer-network projects in Al-Baha city, bringing improved sanitation services to more than 34,000 beneficiaries across four residential districts.

The projects, with a combined cost exceeding SAR 230 million, involved laying 7 kilometres of main sewer lines and 89 kilometres of local sewer networks. The upgraded infrastructure covers the districts of Al-Worood, Al-Maseif, Al-Nuzha North, and Al-Naseem South.

Residents in these districts can now request sewer connections for their properties directly through the company's website or mobile application, making the process straightforward and fully digital.

How connection fees work

Connection fees are not a single fixed amount. Instead, they are calculated based on several factors, including the plot area and the number of units on the property. These fees are set in line with the financial rules approved by the water-services regulator.

Eligible customers can pay the connection fee in installments through the company's digital channels. The installment plan begins with a SAR 200 down payment, followed by monthly installments of SAR 200 that are added to the regular water-consumption bill.

The completion of these projects marks a step forward in expanding reliable sanitation infrastructure in Al-Baha, supporting public health and the quality of life for thousands of residents in the newly served neighbourhoods.
