Al-Baha: Two New Sewer Projects Serve 34,000

The National Water Company has completed two sewer-network projects in Al-Baha city, serving more than 34,000 beneficiaries at a total cost exceeding SAR 230 million. The works aim to expand wastewater coverage and improve public-health standards across residential areas.

The projects include the installation of 7 km of main sewer lines and 89 km of sewer networks. Coverage spans four districts: Al-Worood, Al-Maseif, Al-Nuzha North, and Al-Naseem South.

How residents can connect

Residents in the covered districts can request a sewer connection through the National Water Company website or mobile application. Connection fees are not a single fixed amount; they are calculated based on property classification, plot area, the number of units, and the connection diameter. Each fee notice is valid for 90 days.

To ease the cost, installment plans are available through digital channels, starting with a SAR 200 down payment and SAR 200 monthly, added to the monthly water-consumption bill. Payments can be made through digital channels or SADAD.

Residents who want to estimate their exact fee in advance can use the Water and Wastewater Connection Fee Calculator provided by the Saudi Water Authority. The expanded network is expected to improve sanitation services and support the quality of life for thousands of households in the city.
