Almoosa Health has opened its new Salmaniyah Medical Center in the Al Salmaniyah district of Al Hofuf, Al-Ahsa, on 5 September 2026, following the completion of all required licensing procedures with the relevant health authorities. The facility expands healthcare services across the Eastern Province.
Spanning a built-up area of 16,800 square meters, the center is the company's third medical center after Al Nakheel Medical Center in Al Hofuf and Al Aziziyah Medical Center in Al Khobar. It houses 66 outpatient clinics, three day-surgery operating rooms, and an emergency department with 10 beds.
Clinical services currently on offer include pediatrics, dentistry, dermatology, women's health, ophthalmology, ENT and other specialties, alongside endoscopy services and a specialized hair transplant center. The center also provides radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services, plus health education programs and a diabetes education center focused on nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle guidance.
Why it matters
The center is positioned as a primary care and specialty outpatient hub, complementing Almoosa Specialist Hospital and Almoosa Rehabilitation Hospital in Al-Ahsa. It forms part of the company's strategy to build an integrated healthcare model spanning primary to critical and post-acute care within its Eastern Province network.
Patient access is described through standard healthcare operations — clinics, emergency, and outpatient services at the center. As of early September 2026, no detailed official price lists or exact visit or procedure fees have been publicly specified for the center.
