New Deputy Minister for Social Development Named

Saudi Arabia has appointed Badr bin Ibrahim Al‑Suwailim as Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Social Development, with the excellent rank. The appointment was made by Royal Order number O/276, issued on 24 Sha’ban 1447, corresponding to 12 February 2026.

The Royal Order was published in issue 5144 of the official gazette Umm Al‑Qura on 13 February 2026, formalizing the appointment within the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

The ministry is responsible for human resources, labor market, and social development affairs at the national level. The Deputy Minister for Social Development role forms part of the ministry’s leadership and organizational structure, tasked with implementing the National Strategy for Social Development and overseeing related programs and initiatives.
