New Rules for Athlete Travel Program Announced

The Sports Ministry has issued new regulations to govern the "travelers" program, a framework designed to organize the trips of athletes and sports teams. The move aims to bring greater structure and clarity to how sporting delegations arrange and carry out their travel.

the program sets out the standards and procedures for managing athlete and team journeys, providing a clearer reference for how such trips are planned and coordinated.

The regulations are intended to streamline the process for athletes, clubs, and sports bodies, helping ensure that travel arrangements are handled in a consistent and well-organized manner.

For the wider sports community in the Kingdom, the step reflects continued efforts to strengthen the organizational side of Saudi sport. Clearer procedures can help teams focus on their competitive commitments while reducing uncertainty around the logistics of their trips.

Saudi Living will share further details on how the program works and who it applies to as they become available.
