A safety recall now in effect in Saudi Arabia covers 20 Hollis 200LX Second Stage diving regulators sold in the Kingdom, after a defect was identified that could stop the device from working and create a potential drowning risk. Consumers are being urged to stop using any affected unit immediately.
The recall applies to regulators carrying serial numbers within the ranges C3753–C77735, S73202–S84427, HA00001–HA14873, and LX001698–LX009896. It covers units purchased between May 2017 and February 2026. The defect involves a possible crack or detachment of the pressure regulator inlet tube.
What affected owners should do
Anyone who owns a Hollis 200LX Second Stage regulator within the listed serial ranges should stop using it until it has been inspected and repaired. In Saudi Arabia, the repair is carried out free of charge; consumers can contact Jeddah Diving Establishment on 0126941123 to arrange inspection and repair at no cost.
Under the manufacturer's policy, affected regulators are repaired at no cost. Owners may also contact authorized Hollis dealers or the original place of purchase to process the recall.
Consumers can verify whether a product is included in a recall campaign through the national product recall portal (Recalls.sa) via the Ministry of Commerce electronic services. Searching by product brand, model, and trade name shows whether an item is affected and what action is required, at no charge. This particular recall is handled directly through the Ministry of Commerce recall center and the Jeddah Diving Establishment contact number.
The Ministry of Commerce continues to publish recall campaigns for defective consumer products and urges the public to follow recall instructions and stop using affected items to prevent safety risks.
