Riyadh Hosts 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All

The Saudi Sports for All Federation organized the 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All in Riyadh, running for five days from September 2 to 6, 2026, under the theme “Movement Brings Us Together.” The event gathered delegations from seven countries in a shared celebration of community sport.

Taking part were delegations from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, and Syria. The festival offered a wide range of activities suited to different ages and skill levels, reflecting its focus on participation rather than competition.

Attractions included table tennis, archery, air hockey, boxing challenges, interactive basketball, mini-football, floor curling, interactive cycling, speed-reaction arenas, and a selection of traditional games. The mix of modern and heritage activities aimed to encourage movement and social interaction for participants of all backgrounds.

Why it matters

The festival reflects the growing emphasis on active lifestyles across the region and highlights Riyadh's role as a hub for community sporting events. By bringing together delegations from across the Arab world, the gathering helped promote physical activity as a shared cultural value.

The five-day festival has now concluded. It was a free-to-attend community event, and no fixed venue address, daily timetable, or registration procedure was published.
