Running Clubs, Concerts & Workshops Grow Saudi Community

New community spaces are taking shape across Saudi Arabia as free running clubs, music events and professional workshops give residents in Riyadh and Jeddah more ways to connect. From weekly evening runs to large festivals, the activities span the year and welcome newcomers and regulars alike.

In Riyadh, community groups such as Riyadh Urban Runners hold free sessions at locations including KAFD, Sports Boulevard, JAX District, Wadi Hanifa, Misk City Track, Al Yamamah University Track, the Diplomatic Quarter, King Abdullah Park, Al Malaz, and Al Ra'id Grove Park. Typical sessions run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, and Friday long runs, though exact schedules vary by club.

In Jeddah, Jeddah Running Community and DRS Paces organize free runs around the Corniche and other routes, with meeting points announced through their channels. New Balance Run Club Saudi Arabia also offers free runs and coaching in both cities, with current meeting points shared on its official social accounts.

For those seeking timed races, listed 2026 entry prices are about SAR 149 for a full marathon, SAR 119 for a half marathon, SAR 85 for a 10-kilometre race, and SAR 62 for a 4-kilometre fun run, with event-specific age and timing rules applying.

On the music front, MDLBeast Soundstorm 2026 is set for Banban, Riyadh, in December, with early listed prices of SAR 269 for a Storm ticket and SAR 1,799 for a VIB ticket offering priority access and dedicated viewing areas. Ayed and Oumaima are scheduled for 21 August 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Talal Maddah Theatre, while Talal Salamah is set to perform at the Red Theater of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

Professional workshops round out the offering, with listed fees of SAR 300 for a three-hour workshop and SAR 600 for a six-hour or international workshop, booked electronically through each announcement's link. Note that training-program and event fees are final, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
