Saudi Para Table Tennis Team Trains in Nagoya

The Saudi national para table tennis team held its first training session in Nagoya, Japan, on 13 October 2026, as it begins final preparations for the fifth Asian Para Games.

The continental event is scheduled to run from 18 to 24 October 2026. The Saudi para table tennis squad includes Maryam Almyrisl, Zahra Al Tala, Rakan Alsalmi, and Ibrahim Hassan, who are sharpening their form ahead of the competition.

Para table tennis matches will take place at Sky Hall Toyota in Toyota, located in Aichi Prefecture. The venue will host athletes from across the continent competing in the discipline.

Saudi Arabia is fielding a delegation of 41 athletes across eight sports at the Games, with para table tennis among the events featuring Saudi representation. The participation reflects the Kingdom's continued investment in para sports and the growing presence of Saudi athletes on the international stage.

For the local community, the team's campaign offers another chance to follow Saudi talent competing abroad and to celebrate the athletes carrying the Kingdom's name at one of Asia's largest multi-sport events for athletes with disabilities.
