Bader Al-Razizah Elected Saudi Football Chief 2026-2030

Bader Al-Razizah has been elected president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the 2026–2030 term, following an extraordinary general assembly held in Riyadh.

The appointment was made by acclamation rather than through a ballot, as Al-Razizah was the sole candidate whose list met all the required conditions. Under the assembly's rules, no vote was needed when only one qualifying candidate came forward.

The new term will run for four years, giving the federation a defined leadership period to plan and carry out its programs for the country's most popular sport.

Why it matters

Football holds a central place in the daily life of many residents and expats across Saudi Arabia, from local league matches to the national team's fixtures. The federation oversees competitions, development programs, and the direction of the game nationwide, so its leadership carries wide interest among fans in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and beyond.

With a clear four-year mandate now in place, supporters and clubs will be watching how the federation shapes its plans for the coming seasons.
