Ceer Launches First EVs, EXOBOT Sedan and SUV

On 21 September 2026, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman launched Ceer's first electric vehicles — the EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV — during an event in King Abdullah Economic City. The unveiling marks a milestone for the Kingdom's growing electric mobility sector.

EXOBOT is Ceer's first vehicle line and the opening offering in a planned portfolio of seven models. The two vehicles introduced represent the company's entry into the passenger EV market from a manufacturing base inside the Kingdom.

Sales in the Saudi market are expected to begin in early 2027. Production is planned to start in January 2027 at Ceer's manufacturing complex in King Abdullah Economic City, with customer deliveries scheduled from March 2027.

Why it matters

For residents and expats interested in electric mobility, the launch signals a locally built EV option arriving in the coming years. However, key purchasing details remain unannounced. No official Saudi retail prices, reservation fees, registration fees, delivery charges, financing terms, or warranty periods have been confirmed.

Ceer has also not announced an official customer-ordering channel, showroom network, reservation validity period, or Saudi charging-service fees. Based on the currently available launch information, no government e-service procedure applies to buying or registering these vehicles at this stage. Saudi Living will share verified details as they become available.
