CEER Unveils First Electric Vehicles in Saudi Arabia

CEER has unveiled EXOBOT, its first two fully electric vehicles — a sedan and an SUV — in Saudi Arabia on 21 September 2026, marking a key step for the Kingdom's growing electric-vehicle market.

Sales to Saudi customers are expected to begin in early 2027. Production is planned at King Abdullah Economic City, with manufacturing scheduled to start in January 2027. As of 26 September 2026, EXOBOT has been unveiled but is not yet available for ordinary customer purchase.

A wider vehicle lineup

The two new models are part of a broader plan. CEER's initial vehicle program comprises seven models in total, with five additional mainstream models planned for launch between 2028 and 2030. This staged rollout points to a long-term commitment to building a locally rooted electric-vehicle industry.

No official EXOBOT prices or fees have been announced. Reported estimates in the range of SAR 120,000 to SAR 250,000 are not official CEER figures and should be treated with caution until confirmed.

Likewise, no CEER-specific procedures for registration, purchase, subsidies, tax, charging, or ownership have been announced through any government platform, and no CEER-specific validity periods have been published.

For residents and expats considering an electric vehicle, the launch signals more choice on the horizon as local production takes shape. Saudi Living will follow developments and share confirmed details on pricing, availability, and any official procedures once they are announced.
