The Real Estate Development Fund has deposited about SAR 1.074 billion into the accounts of housing support beneficiaries in Saudi Arabia for the month of August 2026, as part of the national housing program.
The August deposit was allocated to support the profits on housing financing contracts held by eligible beneficiaries, easing the cost of home financing for citizens under the program.
With this latest payment, the total amount deposited from January through August 2026 has reached approximately SAR 8.628 billion, reflecting the continued monthly delivery of support to registered beneficiaries.
Why it matters
The housing support falls under the program run by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the financing system of the Real Estate Development Fund. These monthly deposits directly reduce the financial burden of home ownership for eligible families across the Kingdom.
The support helps beneficiaries meet the profit portion of their housing financing contracts, making home ownership more accessible in line with national housing goals. Beneficiaries continue to receive these deposits
