Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal handed over 1,480 alternative land title deeds to citizens whose plots in the Al-Malisaa township in Jeddah had been affected by overlapping and land-dispute issues. The distribution took place under the patronage of the Emir of Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, with regional officials in attendance.
Beneficiaries were compensated with alternative plots in the Tayba development township, located northeast of Jeddah, within plan No. 612/J/S. Jeddah Mayoralty, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice and other government entities, completed the processing of the overlapping lands and the legal transfer procedures for the new plots.
The allocation of the alternative plots was carried out through an electronic lottery (digital draw) system designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity among beneficiaries. Citizens can now complete plot allocation and title deed issuance through approved digital real estate services.
How to check your title deed
Through the Najiz portal of the Ministry of Justice, beneficiaries can log in using National Single Sign-On , go to "All e-Services," select the "Liens and Real Estate" package, and choose "Real Estate Title Deed Inquiry." They then enter the deed number and date, or the deed number and owner's ID number, to view the deed and property details. The unified support number for these services is 1950.
The move is part of wider efforts to settle land disputes and organize property ownership. Real estate registration work in the Makkah region for 2026 includes the registration of 14,750 real estate plots under the real estate registration system.
