New Murabba Development Company has entered an investment partnership with Al Mana Medical Group to build a major general hospital inside the New Murabba destination in downtown Riyadh, with a total planned investment of nearly 1 billion SAR.
The facility is designed as a general hospital with a capacity of around 200 beds. It will be built on a plot of more than 16,000 square metres near Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Awal Road, within one of New Murabba's mixed-use districts, and will be integrated with the surrounding residential, commercial, and pedestrian networks.
Planned services span emergency and trauma care, family medicine, pediatrics, neonatal care, orthopedics, cardiology, neurosciences, and other core specialties. The project also aims to incorporate artificial intelligence, advanced medical technologies, and digital healthcare solutions to support more efficient and proactive patient care.
Why it matters
The hospital is intended to serve residents and visitors of the New Murabba destination, part of the wider downtown Riyadh development planned for completion around 2030. The partnership marks the activation of the first investment package under the destination's master plan.
The nearly 1 billion SAR figure refers to capital investment in the project itself, not to patient fees, service prices, or insurance tariffs. No patient fee schedules or pricing specific to this facility have been published. There is also no publicly available construction timeline or opening date beyond the announcement of the partnership.
