Saha Al-Wurood: New Riyadh Urban Destination

Municipal and housing authorities are advancing preparations and marketing for a set of new urban projects in the Kingdom, including Saha Al-Wurood, a Riyadh development presented as a fresh community destination and part of the wider city-upgrade drive under رؤية السعودية 2030.

The Saha Al-Wurood project spans an area of 68,000 square meters and is planned to include retail and entertainment facilities, walking and biking trails, parks, and open public spaces. The layout aims to give residents a mixed-use gathering point that combines shopping, leisure, and outdoor activity.

Part of a larger housing and land push

The project sits within a broader municipal and housing portfolio that emphasizes developing more than 411 million square meters of land across الرياض, جدة, الدمام, and Makkah. The white-lands plan has also been expanded to 17 additional cities, and a current stated target calls for developing more than 62,000 residential units using modern construction methods.

For residents and investors handling building procedures, the official municipal channels remain available through Balady and وزارة البلديات والإسكان. The construction and building-permit services list phone 199040, email infocs@momah.gov.sa, self-services around the clock, and working hours from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

Applicants should note the stated timelines for land products: the electronic contract must be signed within 48 hours after reservation, while for special land the building permit must be obtained and construction begun within 6 months of allocation.

No exact fee or price for Saha Al-Wurood has been made available at this stage.
