Saudi Arabia's plans to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup center on five host cities — Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha and NEOM — with a total of 15 stadiums planned or designated across the Kingdom,
The capital carries the largest share, with eight stadiums earmarked for Riyadh. Jeddah is set to host four stadiums, while Al Khobar, Abha and NEOM are each designated to host one.
Named venues
In Riyadh, the planned and existing venues include the new King Salman International Stadium, with a capacity of around 92,760, alongside the King Fahd International Stadium, which is slated for a major renovation. Other Riyadh-area stadiums include Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in the القدية area, New Murabba Stadium, ROSHN Stadium, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium, South Riyadh Stadium and King Saud University Stadium.
In Jeddah, the designated stadiums include the existing King Abdullah Sports City Stadium set for renovation, the new Qiddiya Coast Stadium, Jeddah Central Stadium and King Abdullah Economic City Stadium near the city. In Al Khobar, Aramco Stadium is planned for the tournament.
