Saudi mixed martial arts fighter Hattan Alsaif, a Riyadh native born in 2002, is preparing for a new chapter in her professional career, cementing her place as a landmark figure for women in combat sports across the Kingdom. She is the first Saudi woman to be signed by a global MMA promotion.
Alsaif built her name through an undefeated amateur run, recording multiple wins in PFL MENA events, including atomweight bouts staged in Riyadh and other Saudi cities. Her professional journey began in late 2025, with her first pro bout at the PFL MENA Finals held in Alkhobar on 5 December 2025.
By mid-2026 she carried a professional record of 1–0–0 following a TKO victory over Dania Ouhachi at PFL MENA 10: Riyadh, a fight stopped at 3:38 of the second round at Boulevard Studios in Riyadh.
Her Riyadh appearances have been hosted at venues such as Green Halls Auditorium and Boulevard Studios, typically on Friday evenings, with tickets sold through local online ticketing platforms. Standard entry prices have generally ranged from tens to low hundreds of Saudi Riyals, though exact ticket bands for upcoming Riyadh events have not been confirmed.
Why it matters
Alsaif's rise reflects the growing visibility of women in Saudi sport and the expansion of combat sports events in the Kingdom. Her progress from an unbeaten amateur to a signed professional offers a visible example of new opportunities opening for female athletes, and adds to Riyadh's steadily growing calendar of live sporting entertainment.
