The Saudi Sports for All Federation and King Abdulaziz University signed a memorandum of understanding on 28 June 2026 to promote physical activity among students and strengthen community sports on campus.
Under the agreement, the two sides plan to organize a range of activities, including sporting events, participation-based programs, student engagement initiatives, running races, and motivational programs aimed at encouraging a more active lifestyle.
King Abdulaziz University will provide sports facilities, logistical access, organizational support, and measures designed to encourage student participation. The federation will oversee the quality and operational compliance of the joint programs and events.
What it means for the community
The partnership sets an initial target of at least 500 participants in sports programs and events each year, giving students regular opportunities to take part in organized physical activity close to home on campus.
By linking a leading national sports body with one of the Kingdom's largest universities, the initiative supports wider efforts to build a healthier, more active society and to make everyday sport accessible to young people.
