Riyadh Land Program Opens August 16 for Citizens

Saudi authorities announced that applications for Riyadh's Real Estate Balance Program will open on 16 August 2026 at 3:00 p.m. and remain open for 30 days until 15 September 2026. The program aims to expand housing options for citizens in the capital by offering residential plots at controlled prices.

Applications are submitted exclusively through the Real Estate Balance Platform, with no intermediary channel involved. Officials confirmed that residential plots under the program are priced at no more than SAR 1,500

Eligibility is limited to Saudi citizens who are either married or aged 25 and above, have not previously owned residential property, and have lived in Riyadh for at least three years. This edition marks the second year of the program.

Why It Matters

The program targets the delivery of between 10,000 and 40,000 residential plots annually over the next five years, representing a significant step toward broadening homeownership opportunities for eligible residents of the capital. With clear pricing caps and a single official application channel, the initiative is designed to make land access more transparent and affordable.

Interested citizens who meet the requirements are encouraged to prepare their documents ahead of the opening date, as the application window remains open for only 30 days.
