Superheroes Back to School Run at ROSHN Waterfront

Families in Jeddah are invited to lace up for the Superheroes Back to School Run, a community race set to take place at ROSHN Waterfront on 14 August 2026. The event welcomes participants of different ages and fitness levels ahead of the new school term.

Runners can choose between two routes: a 2 km course suited to younger children and beginners, and a 5 km course for those looking for a longer challenge. The superhero theme adds a playful touch, encouraging families to take part together as the summer break winds down.

Registration is available through masafatsa.com, where participants can sign up for their preferred distance ahead of the event day.

Why it matters

Community runs like this one have become a popular fixture on Jeddah's active-lifestyle calendar, giving residents an accessible way to stay fit while spending time outdoors by the waterfront. Timing the run just before schools reopen offers families a fun shared activity to mark the start of the academic year.

Those planning to join are encouraged to complete their registration early and to check the registration channel for any updates on timing and participation details closer to the date.
