SURJ Sports Investment, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund, launched a new venue-services platform called radia on 16 July 2026, in partnership with Live Nation and Oak View Group. The joint venture is focused on Saudi Arabia and aims to support the country's growing sports and live-event sector.
radia will handle the development, management, operation, activation, and commercialisation of stadiums, arenas, and major sports precincts across the Kingdom. Its scope covers the full lifecycle of a venue, from early planning to daily operations.
the platform's services include venue design review, operational planning, and development oversight during construction, as well as long-term operations once venues open. It will also manage event programming, fan experiences, and the commercial activities that surround major sporting and entertainment events.
Why it matters
Saudi Arabia is expanding its sports infrastructure and hosting a rising number of large-scale events. A dedicated platform that brings together international expertise in venue management is intended to raise the standard of how these facilities are built and run, which can translate into better experiences for fans and visitors attending matches, concerts, and other live events.
radia is a venue-services platform for the sports industry rather than a public government service. It does not involve any government platform such as Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, or Tawakkalna, and no ticket prices, fees, or public application steps were announced.
